“The new civil rights movement is economic education and empowerment,” Moody told the audience at TEDxBirmingham 2018, using anecdotes and history to share his quest.
“I want to them to understand the urgency of this need,” Moody added. “But I also want them to understand that we have to take responsibility ourselves – we have to right our finances.”
