ATLANTA, Ga. – May 31, 2019 – Regions Bank today announced that Roxanne Nicolas has joined Regions Affordable Housing as Team Lead, Underwriting, based in Regions’ Atlanta office. In this role, Nicolas will lead a Regions Affordable Housing team of underwriters overseeing a segment of its national affordable housing portfolio.
Nicolas brings more than 15 years of experience in affordable housing underwriting, due diligence, and analysis to her role at Regions. She spent 10 years at JPMorgan Capital Corporation in Direct Affordable Housing Originations and then held leadership positions at National Equity Fund, Inc., where she was Vice President, Underwriting, and Gardner Capital, Inc., where she was Senior Vice President, Investment Underwriting. In addition, Nicolas worked as a consultant for two Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (“LIHTC”) developers and most recently held the role of Fund Manager at SunTrust Community Capital, where she was part of the LIHTC equity team.
