AUSTIN, Texas – June 11, 2018 – Regions Bank today announced Allan Rayson, Austin-based Commercial Banking Leader for the company, will now also serve as Austin and San Antonio Market Executive for the bank.

Rayson joins a leadership team of bankers leveraging their local experience and market insights to expand Regions’ client base throughout Austin as well as in San Antonio and, more recently, as far south as the Rio Grande Valley.

As Market Executive, Rayson will work with colleagues and community members to identify opportunities for the bank and its associates to make a meaningful difference in response to local needs. Through volunteer service, nonprofit support, delivering financial education, and more, Rayson and Regions’ entire leadership team will consistently reflect the company’s commitment to meeting clients’ needs and supporting the surrounding areas.

“Regions Bank is focused on working closely with local customers, and listening to the needs of our communities, as we deliver financial services and community support that are designed to make a valuable difference in Austin, San Antonio and beyond,” said Grayson Hall, Regions Chairman and CEO. “Allan’s expertise, combined with the experience of our entire Austin and San Antonio leadership team, will help Regions further strengthen its focus on this vibrant area. We are committed to the success of our communities and to consistently developing new ways to serve.”

Rayson brings 17 years of Texas banking and financial services experience to the Market Executive’s role and will continue to serve business customers as Commercial Banking Leader for the Austin and San Antonio market. Previously, Rayson spent 12 years serving clients of Comerica Bank and Bank of Texas in Dallas. He came to Austin in 2013 and worked for BBVA Compass and Bank SNB before joining Regions in December 2017.

In addition to Rayson, Regions’ local leadership team includes Donna Myers, Consumer Banking Manager responsible for Regions’ branch-banking operations throughout Austin, Round Rock and surrounding communities. Myers has over 30 years of banking experience, with nearly 25 dedicated to serving clients in Austin. She joined Regions in 2012 following successful tenures at Austin National Bank, First American Bank and Citibank. She has witnessed first-hand the unparalleled growth of Central Texas and leads Regions’ local branches in delivering financial advice, guidance and education designed to help customers succeed.

Further, the leadership team includes J.C. Duque of Regions Private Wealth Management, a division of the bank that helps investment clients reach long-term financial goals through tailored financial advice and market insights. Duque joined Regions in 2015, bringing over 25 years of financial and investment experience to benefit Regions’ clients. Prior to joining Regions, Duque worked at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and for JPMorgan Private Bank servicing high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients in the United States and Latin America.

Together, Rayson, Myers and Duque will focus on reaching the objectives of Regions360, the bank’s comprehensive approach to meeting customers’ needs. Through Regions360, the company’s bankers learn the unique goals of each customer and collaborate with colleagues from across Regions’ departments to develop holistic solutions that are customized to meet individual needs.

“Regions is uniquely positioned to offer the comprehensive services of a larger bank while also providing local bankers who are constantly in touch with the needs of individual customers and communities,” Rayson said. “Based on the expertise of our teams, and the resources of our company as a whole, we are able to deliver services that are tailored to meet the needs of the clients we serve. I am honored to lead the collaboration of our teams across Central and South Texas and am committed to building on Regions’ strong foundation of community engagement.”
