Congresswoman Ann Wagner of Missouri’s Second Congressional District applauded Regions for building on the company’s long-term investments in Greater St. Louis.

“Tax reform and strong economic policies are allowing businesses around the country to grow,” Rep. Wager said. “I applaud Regions’ expansion in the St. Louis area and look forward to the impact its long-term investment and new job opportunities will have on our community.”

Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer of Missouri’s Third Congressional District added that the expansion will help make financial services more accessible to more people.

“With our economy continuing to grow at an incredible pace, communities in Missouri and across the country need accessible banking services in order to take full advantage of this opportunity,” Rep. Luetkemeyer said. “Regions Bank’s expansion in the St. Louis area will provide critical services to my constituents, helping them buy a home, start their business, or hire more workers. I am thankful to the team at Regions for their investment in our community.”

Each new branch is designed to meet the needs of the communities it serves.

The Des Peres location will serve as one of Regions’ flagship branches. In addition to branch-banking personnel, the 6,300 square-foot flagship facility will include professionals from Regions’ Mortgage, Business Banking, Wealth Management and Treasury Management divisions.

The Twin Oaks and Lake St. Louis branches are 2,700 square-foot locations designed to deliver a complete array of branch-banking services. Similar to Regions branches that recently opened in St. Peters and Florissant, the Twin Oaks and Lake St. Louis locations blend personal service from local bankers with modern technology designed to make service more convenient and efficient.

Personnel at each of the three new branches are ready to serve people with more than just routine transactions. Each banker is focused on offering in-depth conversations with customers to provide insights designed to help them reach their financial goals.

“When we designed these locations, we looked at the needs of today’s customers, and we built and staffed these locations with them in mind,” said Mike Hart, Midwest President for Regions Bank. “We have all the technology and tools needed to provide quick, convenient service. We also have experienced personnel who are ready to listen to people individually and discover ways we can be of greater service. Our bankers offer skills and expertise that can help people plan for their futures and develop strategies to get to where they want to be financially.”

“Quite simply, our goal is to make banking easier and more meaningful,” added Ray Torrence, Consumer Banking Manager for Regions in St. Louis. “When you walk into these branches, you’re not waiting in line behind a counter. Rather, you’re welcomed personally by a Regions banker who can meet a wide range of financial needs. These are also our latest branches in St. Louis that offer new technology designed to make routine services less time-consuming and more convenient for our customers.”

That technology includes Regions Video Banking ATMs. These ATMs connect customers with an experienced Regions Video Banker via live, two-way video during an extended set of hours. Video Bankers can process most teller transactions while also helping people with account maintenance and general inquiries.

Video Bankers are available on weekdays from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. CT. They are also available on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., and during most holidays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m..

Even outside of Video Bankers’ expanded hours, the branch’s ATMs can always function as DepositSmart ATMs. In addition to dispensing cash and providing account information, DepositSmart ATMs can accept deposits of cash or checks at any time, day or night. They can also cash checks around the clock, providing another quick, convenient option for Regions customers.

“Our goal is always to serve customers when, where and how they want,” Hart said. “We’re taking a comprehensive approach toward reaching this goal, including making consistent upgrades to our online and mobile banking channels. At the same time, branches are still the primary place where people prefer to open accounts and have financial conversations, and ATMs are constantly in demand for quick transactions around the clock. We are focused on investing in all of these opportunities to better serve our customers – and to reach new customers throughout the area.”
