JACKSON, Mississippi – The Mississippi Business Journal’s ‘Best of Mississippi’ awards reception was recently held at the Old Capitol Inn, and Regions Bank received the First Place Award in the ‘Best Bank Headquartered Out-Of-State’ category.
The Mississippi Business Journal conducted a reader poll throughout June and into the first week in July – via the publication’s website and daily e-mail alerts. Readers were asked to rank companies in 25 different categories and list whom they thought were the best. The reception honored first, second and third in each category.
“Through the past few years, many of our readers have suggested that we launch a ‘Best Of’ event, and we finally decided to listen to their requests,” said the Mississippi Business Journal’s Associate Publisher Tami Jones. “We were bowled over by the great response from our readers, with over 15,000 votes cast for this event.”
